Be One. Be Gnetic. Be Reel.
As I am preparing to launch ReelModels.com into private beta…..I thought it a good idea to put a first official post. You might notice the tag line “Be One. Be Gnetic. Be Reel.” floating around on some on the pages I put up. If you want to know how it came about, well here goes it.
I have always used the term “1Knight” personally, it is an insignia of mine I have had for a while and just got fond of it. So it has always pretty much been there. This is how the “One” came about. It was just something which I thought described me.
As of last year I was doing a lot more web/media work and decided that I might as well come up with a name and have a business on the side. I brainstormed with a very good friend of mine DJ Elmo, and he came up with the name “Gnetic Media“. So this is how the “Gnetic” part came about. We wanted a name with a ring and which meant it was in us.
A couple of months after, I began to work on ReelModels.com, which is my pet project and the blog for which you are reading right now. So of course this is how the “Reel” part came about. “Reel” was a nice play on words between Reel – Camera Reels vs. Real – Real people i.e. I am catering to everyday real people who can also be model material. So it just made sense.
One day, I decided to combine those ventures together to coin the tag phrase “I am One. I am Gnetic. I am Reel”. I talked with my best friend in the world, Damola about it. He liked it and completed it for me by saying “Be One. Be Gnetic. Be Reel.”
So as a first post, here you go….the story behind the tag line.
