One of the hottest emerging trends right now in online shopping, is the niche market of Luxury Private Sale sites. These sites offer Private sales of luxury brands at unbelievable prices. There are quite a few right now such as Glit Groupe, Ideeli, Beyond The Rack etc…but the one I use is Rue La La.

I never really got into it until a friend sent me an invite, then I was hooked. Rue La La is very easy to use. The UI design is clean and doesn’t burden the user with too much noise. I particularly like how each brand’s private sale is called a boutique, and each boutique runs for 2 days. You literally have to be in top of the sales once you get the notification or else, you snooze, you lose.

I also really like how Rue La La sends a daily email with a well rounded snapshot of the running boutiques for the day. That way, you can get a preview of the sales without having to log in to the site. Only if I see something interesting, then I login to purchase. I have gotten some really kick ass gear on the site, the prices are just unreal. Moreover, Rue La La is the only one that seems to have a decent amount of Men’s clothing at unmatched prices.
